Newmans Own Special Blend is a great strong cup, even at the largest cup setting. We are new to the Kuerig machine and love it. Just a nice strong "wake-up call" for the morning.I will always have some of this around. (9.25 OZ on our B60 machine)No bitter taste, no after taste I've detected. Still trying the many different varieties of coffee available. This one is a keeper for sure.
If your getting K-Cups and you want a good coffee, not a bunch of different flavors just good coffee, get Newmans Own. They are all priced usually pretty similiar but Newmans is clearly a better blend than many others. Having tried a number of the different coffees available for k-cups I am often disappointed, Newmans however does not disappoint. Its a good coffee.
I have been drinking Timothy's Midnight Magic Extra Bold, also very nice--just ran out, and picked up the Newman's at Costco (no time for shipping). I have found most of the K-cups I tried to produce dishwater, just not enough coffee in them to make a full-flavor cup. It's a very worthy competitor, very very nice. I am writing this as I sip my first Newman's K-cup, and it's fantastic. OK, not the same as a fresh cup from my local Caribou Coffee, but it's bold and dark, full of flavor, and not burnt tasting at all.
This is deep and dark and smooth and rich. This is very smooth and has none of the acidic bites that some coffees have. Highly recommended. This is my favorite rich coffee. I prefer a dark coffee, but I don't care for Italian or French roasts.
Thanks Amazon. I recieved a k-cup coffee maker for Christmas, this is the best and cheapest place to purchase K-cups.
